The Philippine Army Light Armor Division will receive the 142 units of M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC).

Elbit Systems Land and C4I will upgrade 28 BAE Systems M113A2 Weapons system, 14 of which will be fitted with the turrets of decommissioned Alvis Scorpion Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicles. Adding remote weapons system capability, upgrading turrets, mounting machine guns, mounting auto cannons. Innovation, isn’t it?

Aside from these, more unconfirmed models of AIFV to be publicized soon. That will be a suspense wait to those avid fans of Philippine defense innovation!

As of February 2016, Almost all of this APC are already in Armed Forces of the Philippines inventory.
