Mischief Reef (Panganiban Reef) is controlled by the Philippines until China took over the area in February 1995.
How can the Philippines take back this reef? When China massively reclaim the area!
When the Philippines Armed Forces were unable to patrol due to monsoon season, China slowly annexed the reef by building a structure and insisting it’s for their fisherman use.
The Philippine Government strongly react the structure creation but later on the two sides settle amicably. But in 1998 (1997 Asian Financial Crisis), China resume the construction of the reef.
In 2015, an astonishing reclamation surprise to us, which the Philippine Government unable to stop (More talk than action).
..Kung hindi pinaalis ang US Base sa Olongapo hindi sana naka porma diyan ang China kasi diyan ang target range naginagawa ng USAF pag-sila nagtetesting ng mga arms nila… Isa si dating Pres Estrada sa nagpaalis ng US Base sa Olongapo. Lahat ng mga sand/rocks/soil na pinag filled up ng China sa nasabing man-made island ay galing sa mainland ng Pilipinas.. Pinagbebenta nila sa China noong administrasyon ni Pinoy – pera pera lang ang iniisip nila… Sino ngayon ang sisisihin sa mga anomalyang ginawa nila ….
