EDSA IN ITS 30TH YEAR, HOW FAR HAVE WE GOT ALONG THE WAY?

What Do Leaders Lack After EDSA Revolution?

New politics rotten out and lie low to the spirit implied by EDSA Revolution.

Leaders forgot to build our nation for they are too busy building their mansion. They forgot to study the communities, the demands of public, the outranging problems bursting out in this 21st century.

People became selfish, only minding himself without checking out his neighbor.

Political dynasty was hated then, but still bluffing our minds now. Finding justifications to this unconstitutionality claiming that everyone has their right to obtain public office so long as they are qualified. Further interpreting the law brings ambiguity and does not apply its literal textual support.

Hindi pa tayo nagbabago ng sistema ng gobyerno; dynasty, aristocrat, elite ” as stated by Former President Fidel V. Ramos as he clamors for change. We are still in this deadly chains. By minding our own selves, we forgot others. 25% or  1 out of 4 Filipino is poor, what do the government do with their power and seat?

EDSA 1 cannot and will never be equated with EDSA dos and tres for the latter is a game of politics and the former is the burning spirit, desire and soul of everyone to freedom.

As I conclude, we haven’t sustained the spirit of EDSA Revolution.
